B98 is renowned for its award-winning schools, including Solihull School, King's High Warwick, Warwickshire College, and Joseph Chamberlain College. It is also rich in natural sights such as the Heart of England Way, Berkswell Country Park, and Earlswood Lakes, and contains a range of activities, such as golf courses, country parks, and a roller skate park.

Henley-in-Arden is the cultural and commercial hub of the B98 postcode district. Its high street is full of independent retailers, including traditional pubs, restaurants, cafes, and delicatessens. There is also a historic market square as well as a farmers' market in summer.

The area has long been an attractive choice for industry: from jewellers to florists, IT specialists to health practitioners. B98's largest employer is the National Grid, an energy provider located in Hockley Heath.
