The Jewellery Quarter is one of the UK's largest concentrations of independent jewellers and is renowned for its historic craftsmanship, as well as its independent shops. The quarter is known for its gold and silversmiths, gem cutters and polishers and watchmakers.

Digbeth has a renowned nightlife, with live music venues, pubs and bars. It is also home to many independent retailers and businesses, as well as the weekly Digbeth Dining Club, which sees a variety of food vendors setting up in the area. It has become a popular location for festivals and other outdoor events.

St. Martin's Church is one of the oldest churches in the city dating back to the middle ages. It is said to mark the ancient centre of Birmingham and is one of the most important grade I listed buildings in the city.

Aston Hall is a Grade I listed Jacobean mansion dating back to the 17th century and situated in Park Lane. It is one of the largest and grandest Jacobean urban mansions and it is well-known for its distinctive sandstone towers.

The Custard Factory is a vibrant hub of contemporary culture and independent enterprise. It has a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries and creative studios. A significant part of the city's creative and digital industries reside in and around the Custard Factory.

Curzon Street Station was the world's oldest surviving passenger railway station. It was built in 1838 and served as the terminus station for Birmingham until it was replaced by a newer version in 1987. Today it is owned by the Birmingham Conservation Trust and is being meticulously restored to its former glory.

The B5 postcode is an incredibly diverse and vibrant area of the city, with a wealth of history and culture. It is home to some of the city's oldest and most important architecture, as well as trendy independent businesses, live music venues, museums and more.

Newly developing area. We are living in 1 of the new apartment blocks. Shopping is extremely convenient. Close to Bull Ring, Grand Central & markets. Going to be THE place to live in next 2-3 years. Can be dangerous but if you use common sense then you will be fine.
