FIXMYSTREET IN AB41 7QG
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of AB41 7QG:
Illegal/inconsiderate parking dangerous & preventing social distancing, 25th January
The car parking in the Square at Tarves has always been an issue with drivers ignoring the actual car park and either illegally or inconsiderately abandoning their vehicles as close to the door of the Spar shop. The is a white line outside the entrance to the shop but this is not defined in the highway code, but drivers are still parked illegally within a metre of the junction which is a defined bus route. During the COVID lockdowns this has compromised the ability of people both queuing for the shop and entering/exiting the facility to maintain a safe social distance! In the attached image, the engine of the blue car had been left running whilst the driver was in the shop forcing people queuing to breath the exhaust fumes.
