Westhill was planned around paths, encouragng folsk to walk rather than drive.
This footpath (and several others around town) is a muddy clarty mess. Fallen leaves, soil, and perhaps dog's mess has accumulated, mixing with the rain and trod underfoot for many months to a muddy, slippery, claggy mess.
Quite apart from being disgusting, this mess is slippery and perhaps dangerous to those not so fleet of foot and does nothing to encourage active travel of walkers, cyclists or wheelers.
And this mess is an ideal excuse for dog owners not to pick up after their dogs, as I have found out to my detriment on more than one occasion.
Please reinstate cleaning of these paths.

Blocked Drain Causing Huge Puddle and Stream, 21st October
There is a blocked drain on the golf course side of Westhill Drive, opposite Hilltop Drive. It is causing a deep puddle across the entire road, and it is running into Hilltop Drive. We realise Storm Babet is causing worse problems elsewhere, but these drains need to be regularly maintained. At some point, the ones not blocked won't be able to cope with their job and do that of the blocked ones.

Every time there’s been n a lot of rain, flooding occurs. It covers the entire road and takes at least a week to drain away.
