There is a small cluster of tall mature trees to the north of the A90 at this location. There are a couple of trees which appear to have partially fallen towards the road, but are resting against other trees which have stopped them from falling on to the road. It appears if the trees were to shift due to further winds etc, they may fall on to the 70mph dual carriageway and could present a risk of injury or death.

Several potholes and deteriorating road surface., 28th December
Several potholes and deteriorating road surface in Hillside direction. Been like this for months. Recent weather and extra diverted traffic has made this a lot worse. Drivers need to slow down suddenly in order to avoid damaging their vehicles - particularly cars and in a hidden dip in road too. Drivers behind may not see them until they are upon them.

Road sinking at pipeline, 31st March
The road has a significant dip where the pipeline crosses. It is a gas pipeline. Council have been advised previously.
This dip is very noticeable when driving but is more likely to cause an accident for motorcyclists and pushbike cyclists.
Dip getting worse all the time. Would warrant a visit and liaison with the pipeline operator.

Large deep pothole extending into the southbound carriageway approaching turnoff for Balmakewan farm shop. Tarmac surface and hardcore are missing., 28th October
This is clearly not a new pothole and extends into the carriageway meaning it is impossible to avoid in the face of oncoming traffic unless you drive into the ditch.
