Road disintegrated - extremely large potholes, 15th January
Both sides of road disintegrated, 2 extremely large potholes at least 1.2m wide circumference each and very deep. Impossible to drive on this section of road without encountering either the trench at the side of the road and the potholes. Section of road may need to be redone. Has be present for a few months progressively getting worse due to numerous vehicular traffic and weather.

Multiple potholes across width of road, 6th January
There are at least 10 potholes within 100yds that make it very difficult to avoid. The depth and sizes vary, but they are very dangerous and is causing damage to both tyres, rims, steering linkages and suspension. Grass verge on both sides is being severely damaged. This part of the road has had 2 previous temporary repairs made in the last 3 years, and both has been of a sub standard level which leads to rapid degradation which is no a cost effective solution for long term.

20" wide x 4" deep potholes on RHS & LHS of road., 12th January
There are a number is of deep potholes that have reappeared. I have reported these in 2021 & 2022. Temporary patch repairs have been made, but as soon s there is cold or wet weather, thee repairs break down, which is now the case. There are several set of these along this section of road and are particularly hazardous in the winter months.

Multiple deep potholes across the road., 11th June
These potholes were repaired last year, but the quality of the repair was not adequate. These agastarted to break up within weeks, and the potholes have returned to be as dangerous as they were last year. When rain falls, the water fills the potholes, rendering them very difficult to identify in wet weather, and thereby increasing the risk of danger to both traffic, cyclists and pedestrians alike. The potholes are spread over 350 yards

Numerous potholes from turning on to the road for around half a mile, maybe more, 10th November
The potholes are numerous, deep and dangerous. They run for around half a mile, maybe more. Many of the very deep holes are on corners so very dangerous for those that don’t know the road. This has been the case for around 6 months.

Pothole at edge of road on corner, 6th November
There is a pothole on the edge of the road that has been repaired before (2 yrs ago), but the heavy raid which comes off the fields, simply erodes the edge of the tarmac, and another pothole has formed. The danger lies where a car, bicycle or motorcycle could negotiate the corner, and having to keep over to the LHS, to avoid oncoming traffic, and be forced into it. This could cause a cyclist / motorcyclist to crash and do serious injury. A car could sustain mechanical damage quite easily. This is located between Sheepfold toward Denhead on LHS of bend.

22 Potholes within 100mtrs., 6th November
The Road is extensively eroded, and has over 20 potholes in just a 100mtr stretch of road. These are located at various positions, making it very difficult, if not impossible, to drive along this road without going into a pothole. These are very deep, and once filled with water, and on dark mornings / evenings, it makes it very difficult to assess the risk of hitting / avoiding them, and will be a danger to motorcyclists, cyclists, and drivers of vehicles of all sizes. I've made a compliant previously in June, and the response from the Council in September, is to claim that the repair has been completed. This is not true. No attempt has been made to repair these, and this should be done as a matter of priority.

Multiple Potholes along this road, 23rd July
There are multiple potholes along this road, and it is like driving in a slalom as you have to weave from side to side to negotiate around them. During the day it challenging, at night it is extremeley dangerous and has caused damage to my own vehicle on more than one occasion. Broken drop link, Broken Spring, Puncture, Track Rod End. £££££ This really needs sorting properly!

Water busing on the road due to rinning off the fields making the road impassable when it rains. The road is also eroding at both sides so it is very difficult for two cars to pass. The passing places here are severely muddy and cars gwt stuck in them if they have to stop., 7th November

Square Pothole obviously was a round Pothole but workers have dug it out and made it into a square. No warning no cones absolute disgrace., 17th January
This pothole has been here for along time on both sides of the road. If you came across it yes you could damage your vehicle. NOW there is a Manmade square hole with no signage or cones nothing. If you were unfortunate enough to come across this in the dark who knows what the outcome would be.

There are large potholes on the road from Fordoun to Johnshaven, near Easter Tulloch Farm - AB301JA. There are also large potholes near Ian Anderson Farm, DENSIDE of DAVO, near Westerlair House, Up past Redmyre School, Fordoun.
