Series of deep potholes dotted along length of road between Edmonton towards Waterside of Phesdo and towards the bridge over Devilly Burn., 17th February
This stretch of road needs proper re-surfacing. It is a patchwork of previous repairs which have eroded with traffic and bad weather and many have re-opened. The full stretch of road from Edmonton to the bridge over Dvilly Burn needs immediate remedial attention to prevent accidents and a plan for restorative resurface. The patching has been applied for at least past 4 years and is now itself causing the problem of patches breaking up

Humpbacked bridge with restricted visibility, 7th July
Nothing new but as we try to attract more tourists we should provide better signage . This bridge is probably 200 years old, on a canalised burn and has always had poor visibility unless you were on a horse. I believe there was one fatality . Perhaps sign should specify poor visibility. This applies particularly to vehicles turning rigy from the Laurencekirk/Pitnamoon road.
