Some road users are turning sharp right from B974 onto Distillery Road and cutting out the roundabout. Usually large vehicles doing this as New road bollard on B966 (see annotation in orange) is making the right turn difficult. However, I have seen smaller vehicles do this too. Neighbours have had near misses on occasions.

Large Pothole 10 foot long and 3 ft wide, 200yds from 30mph, 29th March
Large pothole approx 10 ft long by 3 feet wide and several inches deep. I was travelling on the Cairn O Mount road B974 and just outside Fettercairn I encountered a large van coming in the opposite direction. I could see the pothole but there was no way i could avoid going into the pothole. As a consequence my tyre was split so badly that I had a delay of several hours and had to be be taken on a pick up truck to Arbroath for a new tyre. This pothole has obviously been repaired already as can be seen from the photos but must have been in this state for some time to get this deep.
