There is a sizeable pothole at this location. 3 days ago I came on a young female motorist who had burst her tyre at this location. This is not just a busy commuter route, but a school bus route for several vehicles also, and used by many parents transporting children to and from Lairhillock Primary/Nursery.

Very bad road surface, 15th June
There is a very bad road surface at this location - a pothole with extremely jagged edges just as you cross over this small narrow bridge. This forces motorists travelling west to east to go on to the wrong side of the road to avoid it, where there is a 90 degree angled bend and poor visibility on approach. Very hazardous. .

Very deep pothole at side of carriageway., 24th April
There is a very large deep pothole at the side of the carriageway. This is not always obvious in advance, due to shadows/it being filled with rain water. This is at a section of road where drivers often need to pull right into the edge of carriageway when large agricultural vehicles are approaching from the other direction. This is a very dangerous pothole and must be priority for repair.

Very large potholes next to Sunnyside Farm on B979. Approx. 4" deep in the worst areas. Please resurface this part of the road before there is an accident.

Pothole which is hard to avoid and not easily seen until you are right at it, 21st October
This pothole is very hard to avoid and is not seen until you are right on it. It has been there for some months and has caught at least one motorist and one biker out. This is a 60mph stretch, hence road users are being caught out by suddenly coming on this. The dark mornings & nights and it being filled with rain at times makes it even more of a hazard.

Extremely poor visibility due to growth of foliage as you approach the bridge, 31st August
There is extremely poor visibility as you approach the bridge right now. This is due to foliage height all around there. There are spots where you cannot see oncoming vehicles coming on to the bridge. You would not see a sports car, motorbike, and now even a small car. This is very dangerous, as many motorists speed on to the bridge. This is the route to a sizeable school, is the school bus route for that primary and two academies/parent's route, and is also a very busy commuter route, so used a great deal. Very dangerous at the moment.

Dangerous pothole on the B979 just where vehicles turn out from Denside of Durris Road. This is causing drivers to briefly be on the wrong side of the road to avoid going through the pothole. That is dangerous with, especially with the drivers turning out of the nearby Lairhillock junction.
