Blakenall's well regarded local pub is popular amongst locals, and it is also home to the Walsall Stadium, which is used by professional football team, Walsall FC. Furthermore, WS5 is served by various bus services that travel in and around the area.
The area also has a few primary and secondary schools, enabling young people the opportunity of a good education. Palfrey Park, sprawled out across approximately 30 acres, provides a great venue for outdoor activities, as well as live music and events.
WS5 is easy to access due to its close proximity to up to both the M6 and M5 motorways, providing links to Midlands cities such as Birmingham and Manchester. In addition, a trip to London is only a few hours away as the postcode is also close to Cannock Chase railway station. All in all, WS5 is a great place to call home due to its great connections, amenities, schools and recreational facilities.
