Wooler is home to one of the oldest farmers' markets in the region and local produce can be found in the local shops, pubs and other outlets in the area.

The TD12 postcode area is also home to a number of outdoor and nature attractions, with Wooler Common, the Charlie Ravine Nature Reserve and other locations of natural beauty to explore. Other local attractions include Hethpool National Park, Hethpool Waterfalls, the Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the Redesmouth Standing Stones.
