Good Easter is a small hamlet located close to the Rede River. The hamlet has a local post office, a general store, and a village hall that is rented out for private functions. It is surrounded by farmland and is able to boast of abundant wildlife due to its many ponds and nature reserves.

A number of Primary Schools are located within the CM21 postcode, including St Mary's Church of England Primary School in Great Waltham, Saint John's Catholic Primary School in Chelmsford, and Good Easter Primary School. In terms of transport, the area around CM21 is served by a good selection of bus routes, connecting local areas with Chelmsford and the surrounding towns. The area is ideally placed on the M11/A414, offering easy access to Cambridge, Stansted, and London. The nearest airports are Stansted and London Southend.
