Blocked drains on footpath, causing flooding, 5th February
There are multiple block drains along the footpath between 17 and 23 Hall Lane, PE33 0PJ (52.710393, 0.409922). During periods of heavy rain the drains overflow, with water coming out of the drains. Therefore the surface water floods the neighbouring properties, worst still the drains act as a source of water only worsening the problem. This flooding causes damage to the properties and the carpark next to the footpath.

Several HUGE potholes from half way down, 31st January
Potholes have been there for over 28 months. We personally tried to help fix them but they need doing properly. Cant go around them as road not wide enough. We now have scratches from trying to avoid them, from the hedges and the deep holes are not good for the suspension! Please can someone sort this.

Several potholes clustered together, 10th January
A previous section of road that was repaired has now broken apart and a progressively worse hole is appearing. Hit it this morning and was lucky to still have my tyre. It’s after the hill road junction heading east towards Middleton. Has been previously patched badly. Right in the line of where your wheels should be in the road.

Large pot hole,, 6th January
Large dinner plate size pothole. Few inches deep. I think it's been here for around 3 or 4 days now. My husband, and other people in the village, have damaged cars from this hole as it is filled with rain water which is hiding the size/depth of it. Being a 60mph road, people are thinking its a small puddle but it's intact a large hole.

8 inch pot hole, 6th January
There is a pothole here that is covered by a puddle of water that has just blown my front tyre. I will be making a claim to highways as this is a constant issue with heavy vehicles (lorries) that is tearing up the roads.

Dropped curb causing flooding, 24th October
The curb out side our property is too low, in fact it is the same level as the road. When it rains the water from the road runs onto our property and our neighbours. This causes our driveway to flood and has damaged our property. This issue is further exacerbated because there are no drains with 30m of the dropped curb and the pavement cabers towards our driveway and not the road like is does for rest of Hall Lane. In short, every time it rains huge volumes of water pool on our drive and flood our garage.
