Furthermore, LU1 is also home to Luton's largest mosque, Islamia Mosque Luton, as well as other places of worship.

Additionally, LU1 is home to many large companies and organisations, such as NHS Luton, Luton Borough Council, Luton International Airport, EasyJet and Vauxhall Motors. It is also home to Luton Sixth Form College, a large college offering a range of courses in a wide range of subjects.
