Broken bollards and cars leaving Edgware flyover dangerously - on Harrow Road to Edgware flyover road, 17th May

Thu, 17 May 2018 17:00:04 +0100

There are a number of missing bollards on the raised kerb which divides the A40/A501 on ramp and Harrow Road. When there is traffic on the flyover, cars dangerously leave the flyover by going through the gaps and over the kerb across the path of vehicles on the flyover on-ramp AND vehicles travelling down the Harrow Road to Edgware Road. Please consider installing metal bollards or a solid metal barrier along the length of the raised kerb to prevent selfish drivers performing this dangerous maneuverer . Thanks

Constant fly tipping right outside my window, 17th May

Thu, 17 May 2018 12:32:33 +0100

I live in Hyde Park Mansions on Cabbell St and I believe this man lives in one of the buildings along Edgware Road. This has been the view out of my only window in my flat for the past year. I am surprised no one else in my building has reported this as what this man is going is not only selfish and disgusting but it is a criminal offence. The picture illustrates just one out of many instances that an item appearing on the roof is then thrown down with the other rubbish and left there, forever.

No entry gate is open. Taxis and cars using as an illegal shortcut. Pavement badly damaged., 3rd May

Thu, 03 May 2018 16:28:37 +0100

This road should be blocked with a gate. There is a traffic control in place and there are 2 clear signs showing that vehicles are not permitted. The gate has been opened due to nearby road diversions and taxis are driving through at speed. If this gate is to be opened to allow traffic through, then the "no vehicles" signs should be covered over. I was recently almost hit by a taxi coming through here at more than the speed limit. It is ILLEGAL. I will also be making this known to the Police. Also, the car going through here have causes damage to the pavement. It is highly dangerous.

Cover of a manhole making noise, 23rd April

Mon, 23 Apr 2018 14:28:48 +0100

Living close to the manhole means I am subject to a metallic double clicking noise everytime a car is passing over it. I have been living for a long time here and the noise appeared very recently, maybe due to some recent road works. When at home, the clicking noise if frequent..and you start waiting for it. It is mentally stressful, like a chinese torture machine. The manhole doesnt appear to be loose, so I dont understand why its not clicking. Maybe its the weight from the cars/busses. I politely ask for TFL or Westminster to apply some concrete/asphalt or just anything that can make this noise go away. Thank you and looking forward for the problem to be solved.

Manhole cover clicking, 23rd April

Mon, 23 Apr 2018 14:06:28 +0100

This manhole is located just opposite of Wellesley Court South entrance, on the bus lane for traffic directed towards South (i.e. Paddington). There is a white stripe going over it. Everytime a car or bus goes over it it clicks. The clicking noise can be heard in the apartments and it creates quite a lot of stress. The clicking in particular is obliging me to keep windows closed (with summer and hot days approaching this is not the best) and it keeps me awake at night, even with earplugs on. The noise was not there before thus I hope that whatever has now caused it can be fixed. Else I will have to change my apartment as it is impossible to live with the clicking going on 24/7. Please fix this!
