Between 93-95 Willesden Lane (NW6 7SD) - by the entrance to Paddington Old Cemetery - there is a spot where a drain has been covered up or is missing. It could be the former, as there is a drain on the opposing (symmetrical) corner by the entrance to the cemetery.
This is a problem because this spot is at the bottom of the hill that goes up Willesden lane. So when it rains, a large amount of water pools there and then tends to stay for a long time. This makes the step-free part of the path here impassable, which is obviously a problem for those with disabilities or prams. Subsequently, they have no way no cross the foot path here when it rains. On top of this, the water is starting to penetrate the asphalt and causing it to subside. Eventually, this will lead to a sinkhole forming and a much larger repair job.
I've attached some images that show how the water pools but also sticks around. For example, the photos from today and from 14th April are from a rainfall that happened over a week ago.
Is this something the council can get fixed? It's been an issue for a while but is only getting worse.
