The LL64 postcode area is notable for its close proximity to the Victorian resort of Llandudno. It is from here that LL64 takes its name, as when it was created in 1974, the post used to be part of the historic county of Caernarfon, in which Llandudno is located.

Deganwy is home to the Deganwy Castle, an Iron Age hill fort that was built sometime before 600BC. Located on the coastal side of the postcode, Deganwy beach and marina are popular attractions. Nearby, on the west side of the postcode, lies Deganwy Quay – a former fishing harbour which is now home to a number of luxury apartments and a bustling marina.

Llandudno Junction is the commercial hub of the LL64 postcode, with major transport links to Scotland and London in addition to being a stop on the North Wales Coast Line from Holyhead to Chester.

Transport links to the region from outside of the LL64 postcode are provided by bus and railway services, with the nearest airport being John Lennon Airport in Liverpool.

Llandudno Junction is also home to a number of chain supermarkets, independent shops and restaurants.
