It comprises the eastern and south eastern sections of the town, including Glan y Mor, Teribig, Craigside, Garthddwll, Madryglyn, Groeslon, Bwlchygwynt, Maesdu, Cyffylog, St Tudno, and several other neighbourhoods and settlements. It is bordered by LL30 to the west, LL31 to the southwest, and LL32 and LL33 to the east and southeast.

The district is inhabited by a population of approximately 22,934 people in 10,553 households. The area has seen a large number of new residential developments in recent years, primarily as second homes for those working in the nearby industries of tourism, hospitality, retail, and finance. Residents benefit from a diverse range of leisure facilities, services, and attractions, such as boating and fishing on nearby Llandudno Pier, award-winning beachfronts, the Great Orme Country Park, and a wide selection of independent shops, eateries, and bars.

Residents of LL59 also have easy access to a number of excellent primary and secondary schools, including St. Cuthberts Primary School, Ysgol y Gogarth, Ysgol y Bryn, and Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy, as well as universities including the University of Bangor and the Glynd?r University. Public transport links within LL59 are excellent, with a number of regular, frequent local bus and rail services connecting the district to nearby towns and the rest of North Wales. The nearest motorway junction, Junction 19 of the A55, is just a few minutes to the south, providing easy access to the cities of Manchester, Liverpool, and beyond.
