LL18 postcode covers the area of Llandudno, a seaside town in the western parts of Conwy County Borough in north Wales. It is the largest seaside resort in Wales located in the shadow of Great Orme and beyond. It is a traditional Victorian resort that was established in the early 19th century by William Madoc. It is well known for its long promenade and wide, sandy beaches. LL18 postcode comprises of two areas; Llandudno East and Llandudno West.

Llandudno East spans from the Queens Road to Mostyn Street to Walesby Close. It is best known for its historic landmarks including the Great Orme, the Grand Hotel, the Age of Heroes Museum and the Pier Pavilion. This area also features a mix of historical architecture and Victorian terraces along its streets, as well as a small marina. Tourist attractions include the Welsh Mountain Zoo, the Great Orme Tramway, and the Happy Valley.

Llandudno West covers Mostyn Shore, the surrounding area around the dock and promenade. This area is noted for its bars, pubs and restaurants situated along the sea front. It also has a small retail centre located near Mostyn Street which includes banks, post offices, and other independent stores. The promenade, which is close to the town centre, is well served by public transport, with several bus stops throughout the area, including bus routes serving the surrounding areas.

To the south of the postcode, is the Little Orme, a picturesque headland renowned for its scenery, rolling hills, coves and natural beauty. Llandudno is the birthplace of the famous writer, poet and dramatist Dylan Thomas. The surrounding area is home to the picturesque Conwy Valley, with its small towns, lovely countryside and stunning views.
