Woolton, one of the oldest parts of the city, is another integral part of the L19 postcode area. Believed to date back to the 12th century, this small village is known for its charming landscape of rolling green hills, golden fields, and iconic stone bridges, as well as its many world-class attractions. A popular destination for shoppers, the area contains a wide selection of independent boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Allerton, located in the northwest of the L19 postcode, is an established residential area which has seen considerable development in recent years. Garston is an up-and-coming district of L19 and attracts young business owners and families. With a rich industrial heritage, Garston's regeneration has seen a new era of gentrification spread across the suburb. With excellent transport links to the city centre, it is an attractive destination for commuters, and its new housing developments, independent shops and growing amenities make it an ideal spot to base modern amenities.

Finally, Aigburth is located in the southwest of the postcode and is an area of historical importance. This charming village features some glorious buildings, such as the Victoria Public House which was built in the 1930s. With its mix of period homes, stylish terraces and relaxed atmosphere, it is the perfect destination for those looking for a calmer side to the city. Aigburth is also close to the University of Liverpool, making it an attractive base for students and academics.
