In addition to the locale's smaller residential areas, the LS12 postcode is home to two major housing estates: Bramley Town and Big Stone. The former is a traditional blue-collar area that is home to some of Leeds' Post-War housing developments, while the latter is an up-and-coming affluent suburb with new-build luxury homes.

All in all, the LS12 postcode is an immensely diverse area, with rich historical stories and developing contemporary lifestyles. The mix of cultures, heritages, and lifestyles make LS12 an exciting and unique neighbourhood in the already-exciting city of Leeds.
