Deceased badger, 24th October
Iv noticed a dead badger in the middle of the road on the white lines. It has been there for over a week and Westmorland and Furness county council haven’t picked it up

Parked on private land, 8th July
The Campervan is parked on shared land belonging to James cropper PLC and the highways, it is causing a issue with wagons turning and the camper is being lived in and has been asked to move on I believe

Standing water, 16th February
Access to my house at the back road always has standing water. Due to poor drains and poorly kept road. Have a baby and it's very difficult.

Numerous potholes, 28th April
There are several potholes on Burneside Road as follows:- 1) When travelling north along Burneside Road towards the railway bridge, there is a speed bump just after the junction with Sparrowmire Lane. There is a pothole at the edge of the speed bump just before the railway bridge when travelling north. 2) On the section of the road between the railway bridge and the junction with Briarrigg there are several holes in the centre of the road. 3) There is a large pothole in the southbound side of the road just opposite the junction with Briarrigg/Applerigg.

Vauxhall Zafira ( silver ) abandoned. Very close to Community Centre wall., 22nd April
Minimum of 3 months in situ, Headlights have been removed. Vehicle is full of what looks like storage shelving and is, I think open. ( child access ) ? Also, 30 yards away, on the same car parking area : Silver Transit van, opposite Community Centre door, facing the road. Large dent down drivers side. Rear doors and reg plate have been removed.

Green Subaru Forster with reg removed, vehicle full of scrap., 22nd April
Vehicle been here for 6 months. On council land. Preventative Council wooden bollards removed to enable off road access and position of vehicle and other large articles of scrap for storage. ( big eyesore )

Dangerous pothole, 3rd April
This pothole has developed in recent weeks and is now a dangerous 5" deep. This road just NE of Bowston Bridge is well used by cyclists including families with children.

Several potholes, 26th March
There are several potholes here as follows:-when travelling north along Burneside Road 1 - at the edge of the speed bump just before the railway bridge when travelling north 2- one at the side of the road just before the railway bridge 3- on the section of the road between the railway bridge and the junction with Briarrigg there are several holes in the centre of the road.

Looked over the railway bridge and saw all the rubbish. Also on the bridge numerous dog poo bags just thrown down

15 x15 near house 23 Chapel Field, 26th August
The pothole has been there for at least 6 months and was repaired not long before that, when cars are parked opposite you can not avoid it. Also the ones outside number 20 are now reappearing and get hammered by the cars turning.

Footpath impassable due to hedge, 17th August
I reported this to the Parish Council and they notified you and you replied on the 3rd of August, nothing has been done. People are having to walk on the road which is dangerous, especially as there is a road junction. I am walking every morning with difficulty.
