This postcode is commonly known as the ‘Garden of Surrey' because of its much larger green fields and little development when compared with the other postcodes in the borough.

Tadworth is most famous for being the home of the famous theme-park, Chessington World of Adventures. This theme park, which first opened in 1987, brings thousands of visitors from all over the world each year. The area also has a Safari Zoo, which is a part of the Chessington World of Adventures and has a variety of wildlife, making it a popular site for visitors.

In terms of transport, KT8 is well connected and is served mainly by the ‘Tadworth Circular', which is a circular train route between East Molesey and West Molesey, and is supported by London Buses' routes serving Kingston and Epsom. It's also well connected to the M25, providing easy access to other parts of London and Surrey.

There are a number of schools in the area which offer a range of primary, secondary and sixth-form education options. Schools in the area include Trumps Green Primary School, Bishopford Primary School, Henry Compton Secondary School and Chessington School.

The postcode also has a range of leisure options. There are several parks, such as Chessington Gardens and Hook Common. The area is also home to a few golf courses, including Seahorses Golf Course. There is a leisure centre in East Molesey, as well as a number of sports clubs for both adults and children.

KT8 is an area in the south west of the borough of Kingston upon Thames, where there are plenty of attractions and activities to do. With its excellent transport links and leisure facilities, it's a great place to live and visit.
