Walton is a village in the borough of Felixstowe also within the IP16 postcode. It has a church, a pub, a post office, a shop, a village hall and a cricket pitch. Walton has a vibrant community spirit and many local events and activities are held throughout the year.

Old Felixstowe is a small village to the south-east of Felixstowe and part of the IP16 postcode. It has its own village hall, church, post office, shop and public house. It is home to Landguard Nature Reserve which overlooks the Sutton Water Meadow and the nearby Martell's Beach.

Trimley St Mary and Trimley St Martin are two neighbouring villages to the north-west of Felixstowe which are also part of the IP16 postcode. Both villages are surrounded by countryside and have a thriving cricket club, two churches and a village hall.

Kirton is a village just to the north of Trimley St Mary and is also within the IP16 postcode. It is home to a large number of 18th- and 19th-century brick-built cottages, some of which have been converted into holiday homes. Here, you will find the Church of St Peter, a pub and a village hall.

Bucklesham, Bucklesham and Landguard, and Newbourne are all villages part of the IP16 postcode. Bucklesham is home to a number of farms and an 18th-century windmill now converted into a holiday home. Bucklesham and Landguard is a hamlet which is home to a beach, a parish church and a pub. Finally, Newbourne is a small village located in the south-east corner of the IP16 postcode and is known for its hall, church and public house.
