The area of HD1 is home to an abundance of schools and educational providers, ranging from infant to primary level, as well as secondary, and further education including Kirklees College, and the University of Huddersfield. This makes HD1 an ideal location for young people and families alike.

HD1 has plenty of attractions to offer its residents, such as the historic Huddersfield Town Hall and Victoria Theatre. There are also multiple leisure centres, a history museum and several sports clubs. In addition, there are a host of parks and outdoor spaces, such as Greenhead Park, for residents to enjoy.

HD1 is a vibrant and diverse area with something to offer everyone. It is immersed within a unique and historic town, home to thriving educational, retail and leisure amenities.
