Hereford (HR2)
The HR2 postcode area is located in the Hereford postcode town region, within the county of Herefordshire, and contains a total of 1441 individual postcodes.

This area is bounded on the north by the Bucklebury Brook, and the main A44 passes through HR2. HR2 is also close to the city of Hereford as well as other nearby towns, such as Bromyard, Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye.
In terms of housing, HR2 is a primarily rural area, with most of the population living in villages or small hamlets, although there is a small amount of additional housing, mostly in the form of upper middle class residential properties.
In terms of education, HR2 is served by a number of primary schools as well as two secondary schools, one of which is a specialist maths and computing school. There is also a local college, as well as adult learning centres.
A number of activities and attractions are available in the area, including the nearby Haywood Oaks farm and activity centre, which offers a range of activities for both young and old. There are also several spots of historic interest, including Eastnor Castle, Bosbury Church and several ancient hill forts.
In terms of transport, HR2 is served by extensive bus and rail services, as well as a network of roads that enables efficient access to the surrounding region. There is a train station at Much Cowarne, as well as regular bus services to and from Hereford, Bromyard, Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye.
The local economy in HR2 is largely based on agriculture, although there are some light industrial developments at Bishops Frome, as well as some small service-based businesses. There is also tourism in the area, with a variety of accommodation and activities on offer, along with a range of pubs, restaurants and shops.
