Guildford town centre is around two miles away, whilst Guildford Castle is just a few minutes' drive away and offers stunning views of the town and surrounding landscape. Other nearby attractions include the Surrey History Centre, Guildford Cathedral, Watts Gallery, Loseley House and the Wildlife Centre.

Shops, restaurants and cafés in the local area include independent stores in the Bellfields Shopping centre and the Lion and Lamb Shopping Centre. The area is also home to a range of pubs, restaurants and takeaways offering a wide selection of food choices.
