The Pinkston Watersports Centre allows residents to try paddle-boarding on a 3-hectare artificial lake.

The Greater Glasgow area is just a short distance away, and is home to many attractions including parks, museums, theatres and pubs. Along with the wave of development that is transforming the area, G74 also offers rural attractions such as Strathaven Castle and Chatelherault Country Park.

As a popular residential area, G74 is home to a variety of housing, including luxury detached homes, suburban villas, mid-terraced homes, apartments and flats. Affordable homes in the area are enhanced by the presence of several parks. The area's attractive green spaces feature a mix of grassy areas, shrubs, trees and flowerbeds.
