The DY12 region is surrounded by postcode districts DY10, DY11, WV14 and DY9. Bromsgrove is one of the postcode areas and is the largest in terms of population and area. It includes the villages of Burcot, Finstall, Lickey and Stoke Heath. Kidderminster is another postcode area which includes the town of Hartlebury and also houses the Severn Valley Railway.

Stourbridge is the smallest postcode area of the DY12 postcode district and it includes the villages of Kingswinford and Halesowen.

The postcode district is also home to the large industrial estate of Worcester Trade Park which is situated nearby to the Kidderminster area.

The postcode district has a wide range of amenities from pubs, restaurants and shops to parks, playgrounds, leisure centres and more. It also contains numerous places of historical interest, including the remains of a Benedictine Abbey and the Old Swinford Hospital, which was founded in 1667.

The DY12 postcode district is well served by public transport with excellent rail links into Birmingham and London, as well as the local bus network connecting the area to nearby towns and villages.

It is an area with diverse landscapes ranging from busy city centres, to rolling hills and historic towns. It is a great place to live, work or invest in and offers something for everyone.
