There are also a number of churches, a range of shopping outlets and a cinema complex.

In terms of transport links, BD19 is well connected both regionally and nationally. There are links to Birmingham, Manchester and London via the M62 motorway. There are also a number of local bus routes and trains to Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.

The population of BD19 is around 40,000 and the region offers a range of entertainment and leisure activities. There are several outdoor attractions such as the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway and the East Ridings National Parks. The area is also home to an abundance of pubs, restaurants and bars.

In terms of sport, BD19 boasts a range of clubs such as the Wainwright Cricket Club, Cleckheaton Batsmen's Rugby Union Football Club and Roberttown Gymnastics Club. There are also a range of sports facilities including sports halls, golf courses, squash courts and leisure centres.
