Public transport in the area is generally good, operating regular services towards the surrounding towns and cities. Edgworth railway station serves the area, with regular trains running to Blackburn and Manchester. Moreover, for international travels, Manchester airport is within easy reach and offers flights to all major European cities.

My post code became blo when we were transfere due to a fire in the 70 s. This post code has split the village and as we live in Rossendale not Bury or gt Manchester is causing huge problems our doctors now exclude BL0 as do the Ramsbottom as they say we are not in their area.I never put Bury on my address but Rawtenstall Rossendale Lancashire. I wish to join the rest of my village and have my rightful post code of BB I await a reply
