The local environment also features many museums, such as the National Motorcycle Museum, the Royal Air Force Museum, and the Soho House Museum. Residents are often found enjoying the local parks, including Boldmere Deer Paddock and Pool, Langley Hall Park, and the Mere Green Nature Reserve.

In addition, B74 is home to several community initiatives, such as the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council, Sutton Coldfield Arts Council, Sutton Park Rangers, and several volunteering groups. B74 also hosts annual events, such as the St Martin's Fair held in Sutton Coldfield throughout August.
