A mass of used cigarette butts all over the roadway and pavement in Vincent Drive Edgbaston, 27th March

Wed, 27 Mar 2024 07:58:41 +0000
52.44867 -1.945284

Outside the Barberry Centre (Centre for Mental Health) in Vincent Drive Edgbaston is a raised bit of tarmac surrounded by a metal fenced half-barrier (as it's a no through road for cars!). Which is frequently used by staff members from the Barberry when they are having their cigarette breaks. Hence, the ground here is covered with cigarette ends, it looks absolutely disgusting! Please can this be swept as soon as possible to clear the area. I hope the photos attached to this report are self-explanatory. Many thanks, best wishes,

It’s outside a church school and the barrier is currently blocking the pavement plus bits of the barrier and debris from the vehicle are in the road and path. See photos. The police have been notified (log 4662-260324) and they’re trying to find the driver who left the scene as TOA opposite possibly have CCTV. Address is St Mary’s Church & Primary School, Vivian Road, Harborne, B17 0DN. Thank you.

Fly Tipping, 25th March

Mon, 25 Mar 2024 21:15:49 +0000
52.454852 -1.98941

I live in Edison Grove, Quinton at number 14 which is a corner semi detached property ( owned by me ) People are regularly fly tipping behind my double gates, which are access to the rear of my house and garden. I have contacted the council to report the fly tipping, but they are saying it’s not there problem as they do not own the land and will not remove the rubbish, which is now a chair, bricks, garden and general rubbish. There are security gates there as well, for the alley, for the access for the rear of houses on Gorsy Road Maybe you could google my house as I don’t explain things well. It’s my understanding that fly tipping is the councils responsibility Can you please advise, as I am really angry that this fly tipping continues and do not see why I should pay to remove everyone else’s rubbish ! In anticipation for your reply, thank you.

This buildup of rubbish is a concern at the rear of number 19 as it will attract vermin and whilst composting will deteriorate the large tree engulfed by it ,I actually fear this tree could come down

Wed, 20 Mar 2024 09:36:45 +0000

This was initially due to a missed bin collection last week where people decided to take their black bags out and throw them on the street. This has now been added to and foxes have ripped open the bags.

Loose road paving on the corner of Richmond hill Road and somerset road, 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 07:27:38 +0000
52.458519 -1.935331

There is loose road paving which has been like that for several weeks which makes it a dangerous tripping hazard when crossing the road, and also risks the paving hitting other cars or pedestrians by cars going over it. The paving becomes loose every couple of months and should be replaced with tarmac. In any event it is a risk in its current loose condition
