BT6 is a postcode within the Belfast area. It covers Glenbank, Sydenham, Beersbridge, Bloomfield and Braniel. It was created by the Royal Mail in the late 60s and serves parts of east Belfast and the crescent around Belfast Harbour.

One of the main areas, Sydenham, is an upmarket suburb with excellent transport links and a range of shops, pubs and cafes. Glenbank is dominated by parks and also has good public transport, while Beersbridge is home to the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service training college and Bloomfield provides a short link to Belfast Lough.

The area includes a wide range of educational institutions, with Bloomfield Primary School, Malone Integrated College and the Northern Ireland Institute of Music being among the main ones. Parks play a major role in the postcode as well, with Connswater Community Greenway and Bloomfield Leisure Centre providing fantastic leisure facilities and a wealth of wildlife.

The area also boasts a range of historical and cultural sites, with the National Trust's Mountstewart Gardens and Mountstewart Enterprise Centre within its boundaries. Being beside Belfast Harbour, the area enjoys a wide range of waterfront views, including the Belfast skyline and the Port of Belfast. There are also a variety of churches – St. Mark's Church, St. Peter's Church, St. Paul's Church, St. Luke's Church and St. John's Church – as well as other community-based organisations.

The area is served by local bus services, including an express service to Belfast city centre and further connections to Londonderry and Lurgan. It is also connected to Titanic Quarter by foot path or cycling route. There are two main railway stations located close by, Sydenham and Beersbridge, which provide direct links to Belfast and other towns in Northern Ireland.
