Fyvie and Methlick provide the area with churches, a local primary school, and a doctor's surgery.

Turriff and surrounding area is home to some picturesque villages like Newmachar, overlooking the river Ythan and is ideal for walking and cycling. Turriff also hosts its own traditional Highland games.

The AB54 postcode also includes the beautiful Drumdelgie Forest which is famous for its pheasant shooting and great walks through the woodland. The surrounding fields are also home to a rich variety of wildlife.

Another popular tourist destination found in the AB54 postcode is the ruined castle of Fyvie. This 13th century castle has been owned by a number of Scottish clans and often hosts events in its grounds.

The postcode area also includes a number of historic sites and monuments, including the Bishop's Pit Loch and the Bush of Cree.
