Still no sign of road sweepers How mange damaged vehicles, paintwork, windscreens and accidents does it take before these stones are cleared from the road Not sweeping and cleaning the road after road maintenance is Gross Negligence and a blatant violation of the council's legal duty to make sure that the road is in a fit for purpose state before reopening for the public – thus preventing harm to persons and or property. It is the responsibility of the council to follow key guidelines 1st Sweep within 24 hours of installation 2nd Sweep within 3 days of installation 3rd Sweep not long after Alternatively Diversion routes should have been signposted to allow traffic to avoid this unfit for purpose road section Why have these roads not been closed until the road is repaired? There is a massive amount of loose stones on the road. Not only is this a serious driving hazard, the loose stones are causing serious damage to vehicles (this as vehicles pass each other) Immediate action required by the council - Close road until fit for purpose Or place waring signs in advice of road construction warning the public that the road is until for purpose and advise an alternative route The UK has one of the highest road taxes in Europe and in return we get farms tracks with loose stones

Why are the council promoting such litter and mess next to a War Memorial and church, 27th December

Mon, 27 Dec 2021 15:25:09 +0000
57.206746 -2.638934

Why are the council promoting such litter and mess next to a War Memorial and church ? Such litter has a demoralising effect on all of us and, also, has a very negative impact on animals. The council should remove these bins to an area that can be regularly maintained and cared for - the council should take more care of the naturally beautiful country we are fortunate to share together.

You would not believe this unless until you see the photos, 14th January

Thu, 14 Jan 2021 16:44:56 +0000
57.20731 -2.639196

You would not believe this unless until you see the photos Since Christmas there has been cold weather and the roads and pavements have been covered in ice and snow. For approx one month we have not seen any attempt to clear this snow or spread slat on the ice. An action which is especially important during these difficulty times in order to reduce road accidents and slips and falls. Over the last couple of days the snow and ice has cleared and the temperature has risen. At this point when the snow has completely thawed naturally Aberdeen council have been out spreading salt. Why would the council waste public money and damage the environment by spreading salt when there is no ice on the roads or pavements ?
