Pot hole missed by contractor, 6th March

Thu, 06 Mar 2014 16:35:17 +0000

After waiting some 9mths for the road to finally get some attenetion the contractors have left one of the potles (worst) un touched whilst repairing some that didnt need attention. South bound nearside, right on the corner as you exit marykirk - prior to the normal flood area. its not possible to avoid as you would be on the wrong side while on a blind corner.

Road condition, 27th November

Wed, 27 Nov 2013 12:30:40 +0000

Back in June/July a council officer was seen marking out with yellow paint the various areas that require replacing. Some months on this is still has yet to be carried out. Im guessing that due the office now being aware of the condition of the road and he has marked so that Aberdeenshire council will accept liability for damage to vehicles. Im also now guessing that due to the time of year and frost being an issue that this will be left untill the spring which by this point will require a 4x4 to navigate marykirk or divert traffice by other means. I look forward to your reply.
