Easily the worst road in east Aberdeenshire, 6th December
Sorry, I’m genuinely not joking, I don’t think there is a worse road in East Aberdeenshire than this one.
Easily 75 potholes, been there for about a year now.
Road is unusable for cars.

At least 20 MASSIVE potholes on this road, 6th December
These potholes have been on this road for about 6 months now and have destroyed 2 car tyres and alloys that I know of.
They run almost the entire length of the road, some are about 20 inches squared and 8 inches deep.
They are on blind corners and summits.

Massive pothole both sides of the road!, 11th November
On the road between the exit/entrance to Cairntack road and the turn off to Potterton, there is a large, very deep pothole right in the middle of the Road.
There is a growing pothole on the same side of the road directly opposite it. It's almost at the point where driving on that bit of road is impossible without hitting one of the Potholes. This will inevitably cause possible damage to vehicles or result in unsafe driving practices to try and 'overtake' these potholes. These potholes has been there for weeks now.
Last week, a guy from the Roads department came to my property to ask me to cut bushes back as they were marginally encroaching on the pavement. I mentioned to him there and then, in person that this pothole was there. Perhaps rather than harassing people about a little bit of foliage overlooking a pavement, the Roads Team should be out repairing clearly damaged sections of road.
Come to think of it, that entire stretch of road is a disaster. It's full of cracks, potholes of various sizes, and don't get me started on the bloody fire which seems to be happening at the junk yard on a bi-weekly basis...

Pothole on side of speed bump entering the beach car park, 21st April
I went to enter the car park over the speed bump and the damage to the road on the other side caused my bumper to scrape on the road causing scratches. I spoke to the car behind me and he said it had been there a while.

Range of enormous potholes, 25th January
There are multiple potholes that have surfaced on this road, which appear often after repair. Perhaps there is a drainage issue here that needs addressing. It seems that through winter the condition deteriorates to the point that the road is one of the worst I've driven on in Aberdeenshire.

Diesel spill, 21st January
Hi I would like to report a diesel spill on chapelwell place balmedie Ab23 8hu. It’s between houses 18. 20. 22. It did happen before Xmas too and my neighbour reported it. Council came out and said there was no diesel spill. Hope this can get looked into. Thanks
