12 inch pothole, 10th November
This pothole was repaired less than 2 months ago and has now resurfaced. It is on a narrow bridge on the left hand side heading North. It is at least 6 inches deep and over 2 feet long and 12 inches wide and getting larger by the day it is situated just after a bend in the road so is not visible from a distance that can make it easy to avoid.

Variety on potholes on short stretch, 13th May
The potholes are causing drivers to straddle the middle of the road on a blind hill bend, getting worse each week. This is causing lots of near misses and will cause a real accident soon, being on a national speed limit road. This has been for at least 2 months of not more.

Very over grown verges of broom etc. Completely blind going round that road. Numerous near misses

Overgrown verge - vegetation, 17th June
Whilst I appreciate you have came and cut the grass verge the bigger problem is the broom/gourse vegetation. It is so dangerous and I personally have had 2 near misses with cyclists. Pedestrians have no where to go as the broom has taken over the verges. The car has no where to go as it’s a single track road. If visibility was further then at least the pedestrians could find a place to step off the road or a vehicle could pull into a passing place and wait for them. I appreciate the situation has been exasperated by the lockdown and now many many more people are using the surrounding areas for exercise and fresh air. It is only a matter of time before there is injuries.

Severely overgrown vegitation, 10th June
I have now complained for 3 years about the overgrown vegetation on this stretch road. The goarse and broom bushes are so overgrown that it is an accident waiting to happen. This is a single track road with very poor visibility. With so many walkers, cyclists, joggers and horse riders now out on this route it is imperative this situation is resolved before someone get injured.

Recent large pothole, 25th January
Large (around 1 mtr) pothole appeared at gated entrace to field. Middleton farm very often unload and load sheep at this point and the animal transporter vehicle damages the road surface requiring repeated repair of the road surface at this point.
Report on FixMyStreet
Surface lifted, 25th January
Surface of road has lifted and broken down into loose asphalt over a length of approx 22feet. This originally two seperate potholes which have now merged into one long one.
Kindly note that I have at Wester Blair for over 12 years and in that period except for the repair of potholes no road maintenance seems to have been conducted. The grass verges in some areas throughout the length of this road have grown into the road, reducing the original width and has caused some cracking and lifting of the road edges.
