The mystery dissapearance of a Salt/Gritter box, 19th March
B979 What happened to the the yellow salt/grit container that sat at the corner of the road for years and vanished a couple of years ago and has not been replaced??? It used to sit in the cut away on the left hand side,at the bottom of the hill just past the turn off to Kinmuck about a half mile from Hatton of Fintry on the B979 heading towards Dyce. Hopefully it won't be required this year now, It would be good to see it in position by November please....

Pot holes and sinking edges, 10th January
There are umpteen potholes and lengths of sunken edges(ruts) all along the B979 road from Hatton of Fintry to Blackburn. the road is being badly damaged due to the amount of heavy vehicles driving over the edges of the road when they try to pass each other. The main vehicles appear to be the ones that are transporting their needs for the railway improvement alongside this road. the damage to the road is difficult to see at peak times due to darkness.

At least 4 potholes 6 inches deep , filled with water making them difficult to see and avoid. There are more developing daily on the road from the Kinaldie Junction all the way to Dyce Drive Junction. It is also extremely bad with the Junction with the Blackburn/ Caskieben Road
