Unnecessary light, 6th May

Fri, 06 May 2016 11:23:58 +0100

Set of traffic lights for Oldford "Village" which are completely unnecessary. They cause traffic chaos because they are so close to other lights to the west, and a but stop in between. Council planning at it's best. Other roads such as this don't have lights, is this different just because the houses are 600k-800k? Please get rid of them immediately.

Appalling road layout, 6th May

Fri, 06 May 2016 11:19:11 +0100

Road needs to be re-designed next to the new Blairs non-development. There are traffic lights for a pedestrian crossing, which aren't required, traffic islands, which aren't required, insanely high kerbs, bus stops even when there isn't a bus stop, 30mph limit....please get rid of all this nonsense & return the road to the way it was.

Landslip blocking path and possible damage to retaining wall, 12th January

Tue, 12 Jan 2016 09:25:35 +0000

NB: Also reported via the Aberdeen Council website. On the Deeside Way just west of Newton Dee village, a stream is diverted under the path via a large iron pipe (~1m diameter). During the recent floods it appears that the water has overwhelmed the pipe and caused substantial damage to the bank of the cutting (which has slipped onto the path, largely blocking it). The iron pipe is currently left exposed, and water continues to flow through / around the wall at the top of the bank - may be that the wall itself has also been damaged.
